HOW DO I BOOK AN EVENT AT APELLA?

Please fill out the ONLINE RFP and our event sales team will contact you directly. Alternatively, you can also call our event sales office at 212.706.4100 or email us.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING IN FOOD AND BEVERAGE?

All food and beverage served during events at Apella is exclusively catered by Riverpark, A Tom Colicchio Restaurant with the exception of kosher catering. Foremost Caters is our preferred kosher caterer. Please email us to discuss booking your event at Apella.

DO YOU PROVIDE AUDIO/VISUAL SERVICES?

Apella is equipped with state-of-the-art-technology and offers onsite technical troubleshooting for all programs. For a list of in-house equipment and pricing, please email us. For additional requirements not offered in-house, we are happy to recommend AV equipment and service providers.

All rooms have at least one existing screen and projector.

Unlimited wireless internet access is available onsite at Apella during events.

WHERE IS APELLA LOCATED?

Apella is located at 450 East 29th Street, 2nd Floor, just east of 1st Avenue. There is a driveway leading from 1st Avenue to a roundabout in front of our building where cars and taxi cabs can drop off and pick up.

LaGuardia Airport is about 30 minutes from Apella. JFK Airport is on average about 45 minutes from Apella. Always plan for traffic when travelling to any airport in New York.

WHERE IS THE CLOSEST PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING?

Citi Bike also has five stations within three blocks of Apella, CLICK HERE FOR A MAP.

The onsite parking garage charges $15 per car and $20 per SUV. Please note limited parking is available during weekday business hours. Valet parking can be arranged for an additional charge.

If you are interested in booking a shuttle or car service for your event, we are happy to recommend a transportation company to assist.

DO YOU HAVE HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS IN THE AREA?

There are several hotels located within a few blocks of Apella. We recommend the Gansevoort Park Hotel (Ms. Jacqueline Cox, 646.253.2219) or the Roger Hotel (Ms. Liza Lipstein, 212.448.7103). For a full list of recommended hotels in the area, please email us.

WHO ARE YOUR RECOMMENDED VENDORS?

Besides catering, Apella does not have exclusive relationships with vendors, but we have an extensive network of talented event service professionals. We are happy to offer event planning, event production, florist, music, photographer, and AV recommendations upon request.

WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF YOUR FREIGHT ELEVATOR?

Our freight elevator is 76.5" W x 60" L x 96" H. The car opening is 54" W x 96" H. For additional freight entrance and elevator details, including driving directions, please email us.

IS SECURITY PROVIDED ONSITE?

Building security is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Elevator access is regulated by a security badge system. Badges can be obtained at the security desk in the lobby of the Alexandria Center for the day of your event. For additional questions regarding security, please contact email us.
